Hello, Newsletter Readers -
Happy Wednesday! Hopefully, you've been enjoying warmer weather lately and finding time to get outside...or you've been enjoying our snowy days - and finding time to get outside! Whatever your weather preference, outside is always a great place to be!
Starting this Friday (February 18th) at 5 pm, the insides of many businesses are going to look different as the indoor mask order comes to an end. Boulder County Public Health (BCPH) will no longer require masks in most indoor spaces. Please remember that masks are still required in certain settings based on State or Federal orders (Headstart Programs, school buses, public transportation, air travel, etc.). Download the State of Colorado Mask Orders - Public Health Order 20-38 PDF here.
BCPH does continue to recommend all individuals two years and older wear a mask while around others and/or take other precautionary measures to help keep our community healthy. Remember that schools, childcare centers, private businesses and employers may choose to implement their own policy requiring masks for individuals in their space.
We are thankful for all the community support throughout these difficult months in an effort to prioritize safety. We ask everyone to continue to lead with kindness and patience as individuals have varying levels of comfort at this time.

Boulder Strong: Still Strong I February 19 - April 10, 2022
Join the Museum of Boulder in remembrance of the ten individuals who tragically lost their lives at King Soopers last March. Their new exhibit - Boulder Strong: Still Strong - opens on February 19, and it intends to serve as a place for community reflection.
The exhibit will feature a series of collaborative portraits by Ross Taylor, an assistant professor at the University of Colorado Boulder. Examples of portraits include Boulder's Chief of Police, the manager of King Soopers, a cellist who played at the memorial site and many more. In addition, the exhibit will feature some pieces collected from the memorial fence at King Soopers and other memorial sites, illustrating the ways community members mourned and responded to the tragedy.
The Museum aims to serve as a community resource working collaboratively with those who have been affected. There will also be options for visitors to add their own stories, whether by audio, written record or by creating art. The Boulder community is invited to find a moment of rest and remembrance in this space.

Mid-Winter Sales I Now - March
Are you always searching for the best bargains? Then you're in luck! Many of your favorite downtown retailers are offering mid-winter sales now through March. Warm up with hot deals both on and off the Bricks.
Shopping small benefits not only the business itself. Did you know that when we shop locally, 70% of our spending stays in the local economy? In comparison, only 30% stays when shopping non-local. To support the vibrancy of your community (and the business endeavors of your neighbors), shop local this winter and always.
