Hello Chamber Members,

I want to start off by saying that we are beyond grateful for the amount of financial support all of the members have shown us thus far in 2021. We have been blessed with a great response to our 2021 Membership renewal. Thank you all for your support.

All the normal activities the Chamber is known for have been on hold for over a year. We've had to find new ways to show the value within our Chamber. Being a source of information for the business community has been a big role. We are happy to say our willingness to support our businesses is starting to pay off. Many businesses are reporting the great news of getting the PPP loans forgiven, our restaurants are receiving much-needed funds from the Restaurant Relief Bill that was passed. Seeing these funds come in is just one step to the recovery we need. If you have not applied for relief for your business, do it!

Launching new campaigns for the Chamber has been very exciting and the support is admirable. Bridge The Gap for the American Canyon Middle brought in a very impressive amount of money. Back To The Table has been a huge lifeline for our restaurants and the Food Truck Edition has been a lot of fun for our community while giving the trucks a place to park during these tough times. We couldn't be any prouder of our community for coming together and supporting one another.

We just want to remind you if you need help with navigating through unforeseen issues, please reach out to see if we can help. We are always open to having a brainstorming session with you to figure out how we can help. That's what we do! You can reach us at the American Canyon Chamber Office at 707.552.3650.

If you do not do so already, please follow us on the American Canyon Chamber Facebook page in order to stay up-to-date with what we are doing next.
With
Thank you and have a wonderful day,
Valerie Zizak-Morais,

BRIDGE THE GAP
The American Canyon Chamber of Commerce held another successful Bridge the Gap Campaign raising $24,500. This fundraiser was to help support the local American Canyon Middle School. We had an amazing response to sponsorship for this event. It is great to see the level of support our business community has for our schools. We are proud to give ACMS $15,000 of these earnings.

The Chamber wants to show the businesses how proud we are to have their support, so we are creating window decals to distribute to the businesses that sponsored the Bridge The Gap Campaign. We hope by having these signs displayed around town that our local community will show these businesses, little extra love, or just know that they have youth at heart.

We want to send out a huge THANK YOU out to each one of you!
Watch the check presentation to see who is receiving these funds!
Grand Prize Winner- $3,675.00
The Dacanay Family were the winners of the grand prize. They have children in the American Canyon Schools and are huge supporters of our American Canyon Community. It was an honor to present them with their winnings.
BUSINESS SOCIAL
We launched our first In-Person event and it was so nice to see the faces of our members after over a year of doing all virtual events! We networked outside in the parking lot of the chamber while listening to DJ Jerry's tunes (Sponsored by the DoubleTree), enjoyed great food from Imagination on Fire Food Truck, played games, had a raffle, and listened to the announcements from our elected officials and non-profit organizations. It was the perfect way to get back to our Business Socials.

We will be hosting our next In-person Business Social on August 18th. Location to be announced. Watch for details to come!

2021 CHAMBER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Scholarship Recipients
The American Canyon Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Redwood Credit Union created a Scholarship Program for our Small Businesses chamber members. We have been providing financial coaching and one on one appointments to really see what the needs of the businesses are. We are working closely to help them get in touch with the resources they need to recover from the pandemic.

We will be launching our social media marketing classes in partnership with Kasama Lee from Re/Max Gold. We hope this brings great value to our scholarship recipients.

BACK TO THE TABLE
If you have not been following our Back To The Table campaign, this campaign was created to help encourage our local businesses and residents to patronize the American Canyon restaurants and food trucks. We have had great success and are very thankful for all the community support. This has been a lifeline for our restaurants and we are so thankful for all the support.

UPCOMING EVENTS
MEET ME IN THE STREET
The American Canyon Chamber of Commerce is launching what we are calling Meet Me In The Street. This event will be held on the first Wednesday of the month July-September. We see this as a great opportunity for our Businesses, Non-Profits, and Community. We continue to show how we can link Business with Community and we think this is the best one yet.

If you want to bring a table out to the event please sign up with the link. Your business or non-profit is welcome to use this as a fundraiser or opportunity to sell your merchandise. If you want to bring a pop-up version of your American Canyon Restaurant, that is an option too. Please call or email the Chamber if you need more details.
NETWORKING
Did you know that the American Canyon Chamber of Commerce has a morning leads group? This group is exclusive to one representative per industry. We are working on growing this group and would love to have you attend. All members get 3 FREE visits, to see if it's the right fit for you. Please reach out if you have interest in doing more networking.
