UW-Parkside
This Month in OMSA
Become a Campus Leader- Positions open until filled!
We are still looking for campus leaders to join the OMSA team. The MOSAIC Educators and ARU Success Coaches help to make UW-Parkside an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students. While working in OMSA, students gain the professional skills needed to succeed post-graduation.

Please reach out to the ARU Program Coordinator, Amanda Marwkwardt, or the MOSAIC Program Coordinator, Colette Bell to learn more about these roles if you are interested.

You can also visit OMSA's student employment page to learn more about each position and to find links to apply.
We are in the Library!
This summer, you can find OMSA on the L1 level of the library. This space is temporary until we move to the newly renovated D1 level of Wyllie Hall. Stop by the office this summer if you need to print or just say hello!
How to stay sharp this summer
Summer melt is a common issue where students experience academic regression. Try a few of these activities to keep your mind active over the summer.

  • Start a blog about your summer adventures.

  • Learn new skills like baking, tik tock dances, and chess!

The 33rd Annual Taking Care of Business Celebration- Now Live!
The Taking Care of Business (TCB) program celebrates academic success, student leadership, and graduation. This event is sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA), Student Support Services (SSS, TRiO), and the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

TCB celebrates multicultural students and their contributions to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Once again, due to the pandemic, the 33rd Annual Taking Care of Business Celebration will be hosted virtually on the TCB website.

Check your UW-Parkside email to learn more about this celebration!
