The loosening of restrictions has led to an increase in travel both to and from Georgia and with that travel comes an increase in exposure possibilities. Please continue to wear a mask around those that do not live in your house to prevent the spread of COVID. The protocol has not changed despite the increased number of vaccinations. 1st Annual MUSM Sono-thon Ultrasound Conference Poster Winners
Congratulations to Sarah Hampton and the entire team of students who put together the 1st Annual MUSM Sono-thon! This educational event was a great success and included a lecture on general use of point-of-care ultrasound, a PowerPoint team challenge and five education stations where teams competed using ultrasound. In addition to the hands-on learning, there was a virtual poster contest. The winning posters were:

1st Place: Use of Transcranial Doppler U/S in LVO
2nd Place: Effectiveness of U/S Imaging in the diagnosis of rotator cuff tears.
3rd Place: Student Tutors
