WORSHIP ON SATURDAY NIGHTS

Thankful for their generosity, we will be meeting at Mechanicsville Christian Center on Saturdays at 5pm for worship! With the addition of this space, there will be 4 weekly opportunities to worship with Restoration Church!

Saturdays in-person at MCC at 5pm
Saturdays online on Facebook at 5pm
Sundays online on Facebook at 10am
On Restoration Church's YouTube channel anytime!

With COVID restrictions being lifted, we are pleased to announce that registration for worship is no longer required!
  • Session has completed a second round of interviews in person with two highly qualified Transitional Pastors. An offer is being prepared and we have asked that once an offer has been made, that we are given a timely response to our offer. (Both candidates are interviewing with other churches.) We will continue to update you on our progress for filling this important position.
  • Our Worship Director position remains unfilled and has been reposted. Amanda has requested that if you are a Facebook user that you like the post from the Restoration Facebook page and then share it so that it will be visible to more people. The position is also posted on the normal church oriented job sites.
  • As a way to help bolster the worship team until we are able to fill the Worship Director position, Chris Arvin will be overseeing the Worship team in the interim. Additionally, we are pleased to welcome Judah Hoole as a summer intern to the Worship team. Judah currently attends Liberty University and is the son of Matt Hoole, Lead Pastor at MCC.  Welcome Judah! (The folks at MCC continue to bless Restoration.)
  • Planning is moving forward for our Celebration Sunday on August 8th. As we work out the plans there will be a need for volunteers for setting up, serving food, and breakdown. We are planning for 11:00 am and 1:30 pm services (for previous Restoration folks attending other churches) with food in between. Please save the date so that we can fellowship with all the folks that have raised up Restoration Church over the last 8 years!

With CDC guideline changes, now is a great time to reach out to neighbors. Look to invite neighbors to a cookout, movie night, bonfire, or another event and make a point to share your excitement about our new space!

Another good week of progress. There are still a lot of details that are being addressed, but each week brings significant gains right now. We are in there during the day on a limited basis this week, and may or may not have evening crews painting this week.

If you can help out this week, please reach out to Bobby Pauley at wrpauley29@gmail.com or 804-240-0571. We'll be looking to start moving furniture and such in within the next week or two.

It's very difficult to predict the exact days/times just yet, so we would ask that if you can help when the call for that goes out to be ready. Lots of stuff to move! Prayers are helpful and of course, always appreciated!!
