2022 has thus far been yet another historic year for the Franklin Food Bank. We raced and hurdled along, week by week - jumping over obstacles, devising new systems, analyzing, brainstorming, writing, dreaming.
We launched a new program, then added two more. We welcomed a new Executive Director - a major milestone for any organization - and we worked tirelessly: first to study our impact and then implement techniques to make it deeper and broader. We became scientists of our own methods with one goal - for Franklin Food Bank to help as many families as possible and in the best possible way.
I do believe in all the non-profits with which I have ever worked or been associated, there has never been one so mission aligned. The Franklin Food Bank is deeply committed to our program, our community, and our purpose.
Now as we look to expand programming even further in 2023, we turn our heads towards Nutrition, food quality, education, modernization and hunger amongst our youth. While we may be hopelessly optimistic dreamers, we are also rational realists. That's why we are also strategizing on how to cultivate new and meaningful partnerships with local corporations, foundations and individuals who can make our dreams come true.
Stay tuned for all of the above, we are just getting started.
For those who have followed our story, for those who have contributed to our work through volunteering or those whose monetary gifts provide a steady wind in our sails as we take in one more moon cycle's worth of this incredible year with an incredible team - thank you.
