SPA NEWS MAY 2020
In the movie “Groundhog Day” Newsman, Bill Murray, wakes up every day at the same time and in the same place in Punxsutawney, PA to report on the impending shadow of a Groundhog as a predictor of the remaining length of winter. Murray hated the assignment but learned something new every day until it changed his life forever. This may be the perfect time to watch the movie again. We all need a good laugh about the day-after-day-after-day Covid-19 routine.

After thinking much about these peculiar reoccurring days, I am making this request, " teach me Lord ." Lord take us where you want us to go and show us how you want us to get there! There is nothing that God cannot leverage for His purpose. There is no “sell order” on His investment in our lives and in the lives of our people. Be encouraged, God is not shocked. Wake up every day with a new expectation.

We recently had our first-ever digital conference. If you'd like to view it, click the conference video button below. It was a unique way to meet during these unusual times. We learned much about creating videos and posting on YouTube, but we really missed the high-fives and fist-bumps, and don't want to forgo meeting in person for our next conference.
