Department of Treasury Issues Final Donor Disclosure Rules for Nonprofit Organizations
The newly enacted regulations will relieve certain tax-exempt organizations from donor disclosure requirements. That said, these organizations are still required to maintain donor name and address records that can be requested by federal officials on a case-by-case basis.
