Youth Exchange needs a few more interviewers 
We are recruiting students from District 5110. We will be hosting the Interview Weekend in Grants Pass again this year.

15 Inbound Student Hosts needed for the weekend of Dec 9-11
FILLED - THANKS EVERYONE!!

Hosts will provide a place to stay, shuttle to and from the interview site, food, and evening recreation.

We just need a few more volunteers to help with interviews

Aimee Walsh, District Governor 5110 for 2022-23

A native Oregonian, Aimee Walsh serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Direction Service, a multi-program family support nonprofit serving Lane County, where she has been employed for twenty-three years.

After participating in the Great Rotary Duck Race as a recipient agency for several years, Aimee joined Rotary in 2011. She has served as club president and on several committees. She is a graduate of the District Leadership Academy, Paul Harris Fellow, and member of the Paul Harris Society. She has served as the Agency Liaison for the Great Rotary Raffle/Duck Race; the Executive Assistant to the District Governor; Assistant Governor; and is currently the District Governor. Aimee Walsh is a graduate of the District Leadership Academy in 2014 and Past President in 2015-16. In addition to her District roles, Aimee has been with Direction Service for over 20 years and is the Chief Executive Officer. She previously served as the Associate Executive Director and as the program director of the Family Services program for more than ten years and launched the Wraparound Facilitation program for children and youth with significant behavioral health needs almost three years ago. Aimee received an M.S. in Special Education at the University of Oregon where she conducted research in the areas of family involvement and collaboration. She has spent nearly two decades studying, working and advocating for children, youth and families who experience disability or special needs. Throughout her career, she has been mentored by teachers, mediators and advocates who instilled a strong desire for social justice while developing collaboration and problem-solving skills. In her current role, Aimee is responsible for leadership, organization and coordination of all the agency’s programs and services. She continues to provide ongoing support and advocacy for families who have children with disabilities while building collaborative relationships between families, schools and other community partners. Aimee’s commitment to the community extends beyond the workplace. She currently serves as Commissioner on the City of Eugene’s Human Rights Commission, as well as, a member of the board of directors for several nonprofits.

Ugly Sweater Walk
First Friday Stroll is free and open to the public on the first Friday of the month March through December from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

G Street and 5th & 6th Streets

Take a stroll in historic downtown to shop and explore the hustle and bustle of buskers, dancing, live music, and patio dining. First Friday Stroll is a monthly celebration taking place in historic downtown Grants Pass on G Street. Retailers, galleries, and restaurants host special receptions, performances, screenings, and other events showcasing the work of local and regional artists.
