Flip the Pharmacy Transformation Awards

Flip the Pharmacy announced a new pharmacy recognition initiative to highlight community-based pharmacies who have moved their pharmacy practice beyond filling prescriptions to a focus on providing patient care. The recognition will also include the pharmacy transformation teams and the technology solutions partners who enable the pharmacy’s success.

The Flip the Pharmacy Transformation Awards will have three separate recognitions:
  • Pharmacy of the Year - The Pharmacy of the Year Award will be given to a pharmacy from each Flip the Pharmacy Cohort that exhibits an exemplary commitment to transforming their practice model toward an ongoing focus on a patient's health.

  • Team of the Year - The Team of the Year Award will be given to a funded team from each Flip the Pharmacy Cohort that exhibits an exemplary commitment to supporting its participating pharmacies and to supporting the overall purpose of the Flip the Pharmacy transformation initiative.

  • Technology Solutions Partner of the Year - The Technology Solutions Partner of the Year Award is given to a Flip the Pharmacy Technology Solutions Partner that exhibits an exemplary commitment to providing necessary technology resources to support pharmacy practice transformation.
One Pharmacy Flipped!
You’ll be hard pressed to find a pharmacist as excited about “change” as Ashli Yoder, PharmD., the clinical services lead for Norland Avenue Pharmacy in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The young pharmacist’s enthusiasm for pharmacist-provided clinical services is contagious. In a time when the only constant is change and many Americans are yearning for some normalcy, Yoder and the staff at Norland Avenue Pharmacy are embracing “change” and becoming more focused on the necessary steps to keep pace in the Flip the Pharmacy program.
