On Thursday, April 29th, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, the Town of Orangetown, along with Assemblyman Mike Lawler, District Attorney Thomas Walsh and myself, will be hosting a Shed the Meds event. Please bring any unwanted prescriptions or over-the-counter medications for proper disposal. This will be a drive-through event and we will be following all COVID-19 safety procedures.

This week there was good news for fans of horse racing and auto racing. New York opened up these events to spectators, with limited capacity, beginning today. Although I am not particularly a fan of either, it is nice to see things opening up and the slow, gradual return to some degree of normalcy.

Just a quick reminder that two civil service exams are being administered on 4/30 and 6/26. Please click here for more information.

The weatherman is promising a glorious day tomorrow so get outside and soak up some sunshine.

Respectfully,

Teresa M. Kenny
