Two Arts & Crafts Projects for Kids That Will Get Them Involved in Social Action
Drop off outside Bet Torah by September 8th
· Your children can help usher in a Happy and Healthy New Year to congregants by creating We Care Cards. Children can get as “crafty” as they wish and create cards for fellow congregants who may be in need of a spiritual lift this year! Details here
· Children can let congregants who have lost a loved one this year know they are in our thoughts with a Remembrance Stone. Stones can be decorated or plain. As our tradition suggests, these stones will be placed at the cemetery to help honor loved ones. Details here:
Important Message about Mahzorim (High Holy Day prayer books). We want to make sure that each family has access to mahzorim (prayer books). There are two ways to get them:
· Borrow from Bet Torah: You must sign up for a pick-up day and time. More information is available here.
· Download online for $5.99, with details here.
We look forward to participating with you in the coming weeks. Information will be continually updated and added to the High Holy Days page, where you will also find answers to a wealth of Frequently Asked Questions.
Get ready for an exciting time!
