All Saints Service

Tuesday, November 1

12:00 PM

Each year we honor those who have gone before us to be with God. At the start of the service on October 30, and at our All Saints Service on November 1 at 12:00 PM, we will read the names of those remembered by St. Michael's.

Even though many saints of the church are remembered throughout the calendar year, All Saints provides a dedicated day to call to memory those saints who have led the way before us.

Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Saturday, November 5

8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Parents and adults are invited to participate in our Youth Mental Health First Aid Training. This training teaches adults how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth. This 8-hour training gives parents/mentors/adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to children and adolescents (ages 6-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care. This training is free to all participants. CLICK HERE to register.

Join us on November 6 & 13 as we collect food for Thanksgiving Baskets and grocery gift cards for hungry families in our community. Pick any of the items off our shopping list, or bring a gift card for a family in the D20 School District. CLICK HERE to view the shopping list.

In the past, we have had Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Michael’s for those who do not have family close with whom to enjoy the holiday. Are you interested in coming to a Thanksgiving Meal at St. Michael’s? People would sign up to bring either a turkey, side dish (vegetable, dressing/stuffing, or salad), or dessert. Beverages would be provided.

If interested, please contact Linda Kean at linda@stmikeschurch.com. If enough are interested, we will schedule for Thanksgiving. Time of the dinner will be determined by those who respond.
