Garden Street Safety Improvement Project

Community Listening Sessions

Good afternoon!

Thanks to everyone who has recently joined our email list or reached out to us in the last few weeks about the installation of the Garden Street Safety Improvement Project!

Listening Sessions

We've received a large amount of community feedback on the switch to one-way traffic. We are hosting Listening Sessions to hear more:

If you can't attend one of the sessions or have feedback you would like to share immediately, please reach out via the contact information on our project page.

Installation Update

In November, we finished installing most elements of the project, including paint, metal street sign changes, traffic signal changes, bicycle stencils, and flex posts.

City staff have been observing the impacts to side streets, listening to feedback from community members, and making adjustments to reduce traffic backups.

Read about the changes we've made so far and see answers to frequently asked questions on our project page.

Sincerely,

Traffic, Parking and Transportation Department
