BACC President's Message:
BACC Golf Classic Sprinkled with Stars!

It was cloudy, cool, and yes there were rain sprinkles most of the day. But the August 3 BACC Golf Classic at The Club at Wynstone was "Sprinkled with Stars!"

The star power started at the top with the support of our leading sponsors, Idealease, Barrington Heating and Air, and Shake Guys. Then our amazing Exclusive Hole Sponsors: Virtue Asset Management, Lucas Law, Krumwiede Roofing and Exteriors, Marquardt of Barrington Buick/GMC - also our Hole-in-One Sponsor, Effert Financial Solutions, State Farm Insurance Amber Nelson-Wolfe Agency, Daily Herald Media Group, Bruning & Associates, P.C., World Leaders Forum, Advance Design Studio, ChiroOne Wellness Centers, Hanson Law Group LLP, and Douglas Automotive. Other leading roles included Connie Antoniou Team - Jameson Sotheby's International Realty as our Scoreboard Sponsor; MHS Restoration as our 19th Hole Celebration Sponsor; The Garlands of Barrington as our Score Card Sponsor; Barrinton Bank & Trust, Co., N.A. as our Putting Contest Sponsor; 101 W. Liberty LLC as our Super Ticket Sponsor; and Nothing Bundt Cakes as our Dessert Sponsor.

Of course the Wynstone staff rolled out the red carpet with amazing service and attention to every detail. Our golfers felt like celebrities! The food was 5-star rated. BACC volunteers and staff provided award-winning support. The golfers - it would not be possible without their BACC fan support.

The BACC Golf Classic goes down in the books as another amazing production. Many thanks to all of our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, raffle prize and goody bag donors and more. - Suzanne Corr, BACC President/CEO

Governor's Rule Could Pose Penalties On Businesses
That Fail to Enforce Mask and Capacity Rules
On Friday Governor Pritzker announced the issuance of emergency rules from the Illinois Department of Public Health (“IDPH”) to impose penalties on businesses that fail to enforce face covering, size limit and gathering requirements. The rules apply to businesses open to the public, schools, and child-care establishments. It notably does not apply to individuals.

While mask wearing is recommended to control the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, the language of the rule is ambiguous and puts businesses in the position of being an enforcement and policing agent, while potentially penalizing businesses for the actions of individuals unrelated to the business. The emergency rule goes into effect immediately and is in effect for 180 days unless rejected by the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR), scheduled to meet tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11 at 11:30 am. In order for an emergency rule to be stopped, eight of the twelve members of JCAR need to vote to block the rule. We encourage you to contact JCAR and express your concerns. CLICK HERE.
