PRESIDENTS’ DAY HOLIDAY
We hope you are already enjoying your long weekend! Please be reminded that CSArts-SGV is closed today, Friday, February 11, and will also be closed on Monday, February 21, in observance of Presidents' Day.
NEW COVID-19 POLICY FOR EVENT PATRONS
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in order to provide the safest environment possible for all event/performance patrons, the CSArts-SGV Board of Trustees has enacted the following policy for all school events and performances. This policy will go into effect for event/performance patrons starting with the production of The Me Nobody Knows, which begins on Thursday, February 24.

  • All ticket holders/attendees must present proof of up-to-date vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test/complete pre-event negative testing prior to entering a venue/event.
  • Photo identification and proof of vaccination shall be consistent with standards established by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), as they may be modified from time to time.
  • All ticket holders/attendees will be required to wear a medical-grade N95, KN95, or KF94 mask at all times in all indoor spaces in accordance with CDPH guidance for K-12 schools, regardless of vaccination status. If a ticket holder/attendee does not have a N95, KN95, or KF94 mask, one will be provided.
  • All ticket holders/attendees must be free of symptoms consistent with COVID-19 in order to attend the event.
  • All ticket holders/attendees who do not comply with these policies will not be admitted.

HELP KEEP CSARTS-SGV HEALTHY & SAFE
The following are a few reminders to keep our school community safe and informed.

As the Omicron surge continues to decline, Los Angeles County Public Health Officials have detailed post-surge mitigation strategies. Once these strategies are put in place, masking will no longer be required in outdoor spaces at K-12 schools. Per state regulations, indoor masking at K-12 schools will still be mandatory. We are continuing to receive frequent updates from various state and local agencies and will make sure to update our community as information evolves.

Weekly COVID-19 testing will continue to be available to all faculty, staff, students, and families as an extra health and safety resource every Monday starting at 1:30 p.m. The drive-through clinic is located in the parking lot off Highland Avenue. Walk-ups are welcome. Please visit our COVID-19 Dashboard for information on how to register.

At this time every home in the U.S. is eligible to order four free at-home COVID-19 tests. If you haven’t done so already, be sure to click here to order for your household. Orders will usually ship in 7-12 days.

All of CSArts-SGV’s most recent COVID-19 information, including policies, procedures, and important health and safety resources, can be found on our COVID-19 Dashboard. On this page, you can also access the COVID-19 Reporting Form in order to report a positive test, symptoms, or exposure.
