SPECIAL THANK YOU
We are sending out a special THANK YOU and farewell to Kat Greene, past ATPF Program Assistant, Intern & Volunteer! Kat has been a dedicated volunteer with ATPF since December 2014, and during this time has volunteered at hundreds of ATPF events, devoted more than 1,000 volunteer hours (saving the foundation over $25,430), AND led our annual ATPF Bridge to the Beach Program as an ATPF Liaison. Kat has been an incredible leader and role model to many of our young volunteers and interns. She graduated from Academy of Our Lady of Peace, plans on attending University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in the Fall to major in Neuroscience and minor in Disability Studies, and recently led an insightful inspiration at our last ATPF July Core Team Meeting. Congratulations Kat on all that you've accomplished at ATPF - we are so proud of and grateful for YOU - and can't wait to see what your bright future holds!

We need your help! Autism Tree is launching a new daily video series called "Reading with ATPF" and needs videos of our many incredible volunteers and interns reading children's books. We would love you to share your favorite book from your childhood or a book that you think is motivating or fun. ATPF Artist, Author, and International Ambassador Joel Anderson has challenged ATPF to make 100 scrub caps for doctors treating COVID-19 patients at Scripps Mercy Hospital! Help us meet this challenge today!

How to Join the Scrub Cap Challenge:
- Buy some fabric and ribbons or elastic! Easy places to find these include Joann's Fabric DIY face mask Supplies and Hobby Lobby.

- Call, text, or email ATPF Team directly to coordinate drop off of donation materials (see all contact information below)

ZOOM PICTURE TAKING TIPS FOR VOLUNTEERS

Thank you to all our volunteers who are signing up for our virtual program events! Here are some great tips on how to take pictures of our virtual events:
In order to take photos of events, we would like to have ONLY screenshots of the zoom sessions, not a picture of the screen.
Photo Taking Instructions:
- If you cannot take a screenshot on your computer, use your phone
- Make sure to swipe to gallery view (the phone will only show 4 people at a time) and continue to swipe and screenshot to get photos of everyone
- Hide yourself (optional) and non-video participants
- To hide yourself, turn off your video
- Click on the 3 small dots in upper right hand corner of anyone who has their video off → select "hide non-video participants"
- Switch off taking gallery-style photos and individual photos of the kids/speakers
- Try to ask for one photo of everyone smiling at the camera (use gallery view) at beginning or end of event/meeting
How to take Screenshots:
- On MAC: press Command + Shift + 4 → then click and drag over area you want to screenshot → release to take photo
- On PC: Press the PRT SC or "Print Screen" button at the top of your keyboard
