Why Prince George’s County? SAIC reps tell us this is where the action is! The missions and projects that are in the works at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, as well as NOAA’s Satellite Operations Facility are the places to be in Maryland to have integral roles in leading the industry in the development and deployment of cutting-edge technologies for capturing, analyzing, and leveraging earth, weather, and space science for the betterment of human-kind. For example, the OSAM-1 (and beyond) mission will demonstrate how the use of robotics for servicing our nation’s national space assets to further missions beyond current limitations—will be a historic step forward for the aerospace industry as a whole. Robotics engineering is probably some of the coolest work being done in the industry today—and it’s being done right here in Prince George’s County!
SAIC is delighted to be a key contributor to NASA and NOAA’s future in Prince George’s County, as we engage the amazing resources of our county’s citizens in leading the way in the 21st Century.
