Animals From Multiple Areas of Northern California Continue to Arrive!

Numerous people have opened their homes and have provided invaluable support from drivers to fosters to veterinarians!

We are always so moved by the kindness people show when animals are in distress. We have received so many offers to help, and we just want to thank everyone dearly!

The majority of the animals that arrived this week have been sick or injured, and are in need of medical care including surgeries. We have also gotten a large number of senior animals from various shelters who are in need of veterinary care and adoptive homes.

Our nearly toothless senior name Perrier :)

This 9 year old little boy above arrived and was immediately picked up by his foster mom.

After stopping by the pet store to pick out new toys on the way home, he immediately settled in and...

... Got a little too comfortable by commandeering his new foster brother's bed. Hudson isn't sure about the new arrival. :)

We want to thank everyone who has donated so far for your incredible support! Funds go to all of our arrivals including Atlas who just arrived from Solano and is healing from an amputation.

Because of you, we have been able to get so many animals immediate medical help and place them into homes!

Remember this guy - the senior dog named Lefty whose family just lost everything in the Vacaville fires? They made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him due to the stress he was under after losing their home and living on the road.

He has done so well in his foster home, and within 24 hours, we were able to find him an incredible home in Tahoe with a loving family! He LOVED his horses from the farm he came from, and now he has horse and goat siblings waiting for his arrival!

We are keeping in close touch with his mom who just lost her home, and she is "overjoyed that he is safe and so happy."

Our hearts go out to everyone currently dealing with or affected by these wildfires. We wish you all the very best. To Happy Hound - we thank you dearly for creating this emergency wing for us this past winter to be used in times just like this! It is proving invaluable. Our dogs can't wait to come to you for training, boarding, grooming and playcare!

**  We continue to urgently need funds for medical supplies, veterinary care and our response efforts! Any additional money raised will go into our medical fund for future rescue animals. **
