FAB FUN EVENTS
2021 Season is Coming Soon!
The FAB Program Committee is excited to announce the return of live FAB Fun Events. The last time we met in March of 2020 for our Spring Luncheon, we had the pleasure of meeting, mingling and enjoying the work of 2020 FAB grantee, Miami City Ballet. We have spent the last year and a half meeting and mingling online with great hope that this time would come sooner than later. Jodi Peck, 2021 Programs Committee Chair, has been busy at work planning fabulous events for us all to enjoy starting with the "Kick off Event" in early October 2021. The schedule will run from October through May 2022 and includes our popular Art Share event in November at Blanco y Blanco. A call for artists will be published in the July edition of the FAB Scene. The FAB FUN SCHEDULE with more dates will be made available to you soon, please ensure we have your latest email and contact information. Dates and announcements are also posted on Facebook, join us there. On behalf of the FAB Board of Directors we look forward to seeing you all soon and thank you for your continued support of the arts in Broward.

OutStand is a performance project that will unite LGBTQ youth (13-23 years old) with professional theatre artists at Thinking Cap Theatre in order to provide a safe, creative space to share and transform coming out stories into original, short plays. These short plays will be generated, written, rehearsed and filmed via Zoom during eight workshop sessions in July.

This program is supported by Funding Arts Broward, supporting innovative local visual and performing arts in Broward County and Thou Art Woman. If you know an LGBTQ youth who wants to share their story:

Registration is $5 per person.

FAB is pleased to welcome PNC Bank’s
PNC Foundation as its newest corporate sponsor!
The PNC Foundation's priority is to form partnerships with community-based nonprofit organizations in order to enhance educational opportunities, with an emphasis on early childhood.

Cressman Bronson, VP of PNC Fort Lauderdale was invited to the FAB Board meeting in March to educate the board on the impact they have had over the years in philanthropy across the country and specifically in Fort Lauderdale. With a prominent history as one of the countries oldest banks, we learned that through the ARTS ALIVE program PNC Foundation awards grants to arts organizations in Broward and share in the same mission; to sustain the arts, enrich the community with diverse culture and foster education for younger generations. Their goal is to make the arts available to all regardless of income or social association. We look forward to growing this partnership with PNC Bank and welcome them to the FAB Family.

Thank you to our corporate partners for their continued support
