Join Us for a Saturday Cookout The Chicago Lights Urban Farm is hosting a community cookout this Saturday, June 22 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. All are invited to the Urban Farm (444 W. Chicago Ave.) for food, seasonal activities, and live music. Lunch from the grill, using ingredients from the Urban Farm, will be served beginning at 12:00 noon. This Sunday is Baccalaureate Sunday, a day when we celebrate members and Chicago Lights Tutoring students who have graduated or will graduate from eighth grade, high school, college, or a graduate or professional program this year. Names of graduates will be printed in the June 23 bulletins.

Becoming a Stephen Minister
Do you have gifts of mercy, encouragement, and listening? Are you a person who feels compassion for others in their life challenges but wonders what you can do? Are you interested in people?
These are just some of the qualities of a person who pursues Stephen Ministry training. This October, Fourth Church will offer the fifty-hour training course required for new Stephen Ministers. To learn more about this program, visit the "Stephen Ministry" page on the Fourth Church website or pick up a brochure from the literature racks.
Those who would like to apply to take part in the class and make a two-year commitment to serve the Fourth Church community as a Stephen Minister are asked to download and return this Stephen Minister application form.

"Prevent Medical Errors"
Learn practical ways to prevent medical errors at this coming Tuesday's Center for Life and Learning Noonday program in Room 5A of the Gratz Center.
Adults sixty and more are invited to attend this free discussion and learn how to be a part of the effort to prevent mistakes in medical care, from medicine to surgery to tests and more.
Participants are welcome to bring a brown-bag lunch to enjoy at 11:30 a.m. The fifty-minute program will begin at 12:00 noon. No RSVP is necessary.

Music at Fourth Church
Join us for outdoor concerts this summer! After next Friday's concert in the Sanctuary, the free Friday Noonday Concert series will move to the Fourth Church courtyard in July and August, where you can bring a lunch to enjoy while taking in some noonday music outside in the Garth.
