December 2020 Program Updates
As we enter the final month of the year, please remember to complete, and submit all Program close-out documentation (e.g., final invoices, permit forms, etc.). This will help maintain momentum as we begin the 2021 calendar year. Please sign and submit all reservation letters to ensure projects can be closed out promptly. There are also many projects with assessment reports and/or reservation letters currently outstanding. To incentivize these projects to commit to a scope of work for 2021 installation, we are offering a $1,000 bonus for any reservation letter signed and returned to us by 12/31/2020 (subject to budget availability).

Thank you to all the Participating Contractors who participated in the Contractor Kick-Off poll. After reviewing the poll results, the most accommodating option for the Contractor Kick-Off will be the morning option. Stay tuned for more updates and a formal invitation!
Remaining 2020 Incentive Budget
As of 12/8/20, approximately 3% of the SoCalREN Multifamily Program Incentive Budget is remaining for 2020. Please work closely with your Account Manager to ensure that we can commit your project with the current budget.
Reminder: 2020 Submittal, Construction, and Close-Out Deadlines
As a reminder, and to ensure ample time to process your projects and incentive payments during 2020, the SoCalREN Multifamily Program has set several submittal and construction deadlines for the remainder of this year. Please review the dates below and work with your Account Manager as needed to meet the deadlines.

  • DATE EXTENDED: Last day to submit project close-out documentation has been extended to 12/22/20. Please work closely with your Account Manager as you complete remaining 2020 projects to ensure that we can coordinate schedule for post-inspections.

We will be prioritizing final inspection and check processing on a first in, first out basis so if any of these dates are missed, project review will slip into 2021.
