As students seek to wrap up the school year strong, let us pray this prayer of Saint Thomas Aquinas, one of the most brilliant men who ever lived, that God would bless our students in their studies:

"Come, Holy Spirit, Divine Creator, true source of light and fountain of wisdom! Pour forth your brilliance upon my dense intellect, dissipate the darkness which covers me, that of sin and of ignorance. Grant me a penetrating mind to understand, a retentive memory, method and ease in learning, the lucidity to comprehend, and abundant grace in expressing myself. Guide the beginning of my work, direct its progress, and bring it to successful completion. Through Christ our Lord, Amen."

St. Joseph pray for us.

Funded Vocation Retreats: In June, the diocese of Charlotte will continue their annual vocation retreats for young men and women between 15-19. They will consist of several days of fellowship with young Catholics from across NC who are trying to grow closer to God and discern God's will for their life, with time for prayer and fun activities.
The first five male and the first five female CCHS students who want to go on this trip will be entirely funded by campus ministry. In other words, the first few men and women who reach out to Mr. Bauman or Fr. Reid will not have to pay to go on the retreat. For more information on the retreats, click here for men and here for women, or email Mr. Bauman. robert.bauman@cchsemail.org

7:00 AM Masses: In case you didn't know, parents and their children are welcome to attend our 7:00 AM school Masses on Wednesdays and Thursdays! We will have Mass both days this week.
