A Message From General Manager, Beth Davis
Dear Members, Residents & Friends of the North Palm Beach Country Club,
Summer is almost here and we have several events and activities planned that I know you and your family will enjoy!

With summer also comes several maintenance projects that you’ll see happening on the golf course, at the swimming pool and also the tennis center in preparation for the upcoming season.

In advance, please excuse our mess and any inconvenience that these projects may cause.
Court resurfacing work at the NPBCC Tennis Center is almost done and you’ll continue to see irrigation, drainage, facility and landscape work being done over the next few months.

Our Junior Summer Tennis Camp begins on June 14th and runs weekly thru August 6th. Visit our website for more information and registration.

Our new Tennis Supervisor, Donna Tollefsen USPTA, is in place and doing a great job of building the tennis program. Donna comes to us from the Michael-Ann Russell JCC Tennis Center in Aventura, where she served as the Director of Tennis. A graduate of Florida International University, Donna has been a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) for 37 years and is a certified Elite Professional.

All of our professional tennis staff is certified by either the United States Professional Tennis Association or the Professional Tennis Registry and all are available for private lessons.

There is also a variety of group clinics, Bang Bang, Cardio Tennis, Leagues, Member-Guest Days, and coming soon, a Ladies Singles and Doubles Ladder. Stop by or call the tennis shop at (561) 691-3425 for information and to sign up for all of the FUN!
I’m excited to announce that GOLF Magazine awarded the NPBCC golf course the #20 spot in the Top 30 Muni Courses in America! Kudos to Head Golf Professional, Allan Bowman and Golf Course Superintendent, Cory Adams and their team mates for helping to make this happen.

After a season of record-breaking rounds, the summer projects have already begun. The bunker face remediation has been underway and is projected to be completed in mid-June. Course closure for aeration is taking place this week thru June 9 and August 16-19.

Other course maintenance projects to include tree trimming, drainage, sodding and pond banks will also take the course down July 12-14. During course closures, the staff will work on getting a limited number of reciprocal arrangements with other golf courses for our members only.

Due to supply-chain demand, we are still waiting on the 2,000 linear feet of pipe to be run from the new pump at the existing pump station near #13 lake to US -1. This addition will improve the water distribution to both the golf course and the Village common areas.

Currently, the water is shared, which affects the quality of the turf, as well as, limits watering times and locations, which has had negative effects on both golfers and passing cars with unwelcomed spray. Head Golf Professional, Allan Bowman, will be coordinating the logistics with the vendor and we do foresee minimal disruption on the golf course.

NPBCC Junior Golf Camps are back with limited availability, so please contact Assistant Golf Professional, Zack Shriver at (425) 232-7649 or zshriver@village-npb.org to reserve your junior’s spot.

To sign up for private instruction from one of our golf professionals, contact Assistant Golf Professional, Chris Dachisen, at (561) 691-3424.
Our Social Dining Membership with Farmer’s Table restaurant is still available to both resident and non-residents of the Village for the remainder of the membership year. Existing members can also add this social feature to their current membership category if desired.

If you are a frequent diner and enjoy preferred reservations, preferred pricing and special events, this is the membership for you. You can learn more about the benefits and membership description on our website. For information, please call Membership Coordinator, Lenore Dingle, at (561) 691-3438.
