We're Growing.
Our board team is SERIOUSLY impressive.
DCIS Foundation's main project for the summer was to recruit and interview potential board members. Sadly, we lost 5 board members between April and July. One was term-limited, two moved, one passed away, and one resigned due to a conflict. It was a devastating loss but there was no time to complain, we needed to take action. Theresa Meier Conley, Executive Director, interviewed 15 people, had 21 meetings, and brought six new exceptional candidates (pictured below) to the board of directors for a vote in September. Bingo! Two more candidates will be introduced to the board for a vote in October. Just wait to see what we can accomplish together.

These make a great gift for any DCIS donor or supporter. CLICK HERE to buy or view all terrific options.

DCIS Guatemala Trip June 2022
DCIS Students in Guatemala: Kayla M., Ben M., Emily P., Lila D., Paikea N., Maddie D., Marcus A., Alexssa D., Gianna F., and Milla M.; Chaperones were: Ms. May and Ms. Padilla; The travel vendor was Walking Tree.

DCIS students went to Guatemala for a service-learning trip just this past June. Last year, the DCIS Foundation contributed $12,234 in two different application cycles. The extra funds supported a required additional chaperone and made it financially feasible for the entire student group to go for a much more reasonable price. CLICK HERE to see our donors.
