Oakville enters Stage 3
Playgrounds and sports fields begin to open!
Halton has been given the green light to enter into the province's Stage 3 of the reopening plan, effective today!

That means we're starting to  reopen playgrounds and sports fields.  With 150+ playgrounds to reopen, we ask for your patience as our Parks team works on this task.  Please only use play structures that are signed "open".

Once reopened, the equipment will not be sanitized. We remind you to wash your hands after use or use hand sanitizer and help children to follow health guidelines.

In addition, staff are preparing for other reopenings. We're working hard to ensure all safety guidelines are in place before we open more amenities. Coming soon: fitness rooms, libraries, and ice facilities for league games. We're also working on bringing back museum and seniors' programming. Stay tuned!
