Our Changing Demographics
This presentation describes the influx of refugees and other migrants into the region, and discusses the implications for health providers, social service agencies, and other non-profit organizations that are increasingly working with these new multicultural populations.

CVNA Coordinator

The Cedar Valley Nonprofit Association is seeking candidates to serve as its Coordinator. Duties include
coordinating and marketing events, managing the website, and assisting the steering committee in
leading the vision of the CVNA.

Buchanan County RSVP Program Coordinator

This full-time position will develop and implement strategies in conjunction with the Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley with specific emphasis of connecting, mobilizing and inspiring volunteers age 55 or older in mission driven opportunities through the federal RSVP Program in Buchanan County.
 





Home Repair Supervisor

The home repair supervisor is responsible for daily neighborhood activities including, but not limited to, Critical Home Repair, Home Preservation, Weatherization and Aging-in-Place.

The home repair supervisor will provide leadership to volunteers and Iowa Heartland Habitat partner families in owner-occupied homes. 

Director of Finance

The right candidate will be part of the management team that works together to develop appropriate goals and strategies to advance the mission of the organization.







Rural Outreach Coordinator

The successful candidate will identify and mobilize key stakeholders, program participants and organizations in rural Black Hawk, Bremer, Butler and Buchanan Counties in Iowa to move the mission of Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity forward in communities outside the Waterloo/Cedar Falls metropolitan area.

Finance & Operations Manager

The Finance & Operations Manager oversees day-to-day financial operations of The Job Foundation and the accounts of the over 100 students in the program. Position will primarily work 30 hours a week (Monday – Friday, six hours per day) with occasional after hours and weekends.


Development Associate

This position is primarily responsible for management of the annual campaign efforts and for special event planning and implementation.

The person selected will provide leadership to campaign volunteers and team to carry out all campaign activities. Consistent with the Cedar Valley United Way Community Impact Model, an ongoing effort will be made with the impact teams to develop additional revenues and resources in addition to campaign dollars.

 


Construction Supervisor

The construction supervisor is responsible for the daily construction activity on Iowa Heartland’s build sites, providing leadership to volunteer build teams and Iowa Heartland Habitat homebuyers working on sweat equity hours.
