This year, we are hosting our Open House events virtually - which means the Fall Open House is still available for streaming and can be watched any time, from the comfort and safety of your home!

Our next open houses, are January 13 for Texas School of the Arts and January 14 for Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts at 6pm Live on Facebook!

Our youngest students are introduced to the fundamentals of dance through imaginative play, which enhances self-confidence and strengthens cognitive skills, coordination, rhythm, spatial awareness, and gross motor skills.

We still have spaces open both in-person and online!

Streaming for a limited time only, Welcome to the 60s! is a Theatrical Revue, featuring musical numbers, skits, and more either from or set during the 1960s.

Each act has been chosen and produced specifically with the pandemic in mind, utilizing outdoor spaces, social-distancing, and masks, when needed. In lieu of of a traditional, on-stage performance, FWAFA is working with a professional crew of videographers, guest choreographers and directors to film and produce a full-length, high-quality, virtual performance for all to enjoy.

This event is appropriate for all ages. Grab your family and friends and escape 2020 for a while – Welcome to the 60s!

Join the Academy Singers, CCT, SGT, and TBC for a virtual winter concert featuring many of your favorite holiday classics like Carol of the Bells, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, and Christmas Time Is Here

This combined winter concert, presented by all of the choirs at FWAFA, is sure to raise your spirits and get you in the holiday spirit.

I AM will showcase every TeSA student, grade K-6th, regardless of their learning environment. Students have been busy creating artworks, writing poetry, rehearsing scenes, choreographing dances, and making their own music to showcase in this virtual production.

Set to stream online over the winter break, this virtual performance is perfect for your family to enjoy, together.

Saffron Makoutz
8th Grade
Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts
Saffron and her mother/FWAFA teacher, Kari Makoutz are both playing roles in a radio production by the Stolen Shakespeare Guild. Saffron plays "Fan Scrooge" and "Belinda Cratchit." Show runs November 20th - December 31st.
Maya Michalski
11th Grade
Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts

Maya is playing "Maisie" in Wishing Star Stage Company's production of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE - A LIVE RADIO PLAY at the Palace Theater in Grapevine. 

Showtimes are December 5th at 2:00pm and 7:30pm. Performances are live with special COVID protocols for audience members.
2nd grade students at TeSA created poster-board sized personal exhibits to showcase some of their artwork from before Thanksgiving Break. Students created Robots in the City while learning watercolor techniques and Onomatopoeias.
There is No School December 21 - January 5.
Both campuses and TCA+A are closed during Winter Break.
