Jewish Federations of Canada-UIA (JFC-UIA) invites you to an exclusive online briefing with Minister Michael Biton, Member of Knesset in the Blue and White Party, on Tuesday, June 30 at 12:30pm (est). Minister Biton, a minister in Israel's Ministry of Defense, will speak about Israel's new government and recent political developments. He is also the former manager of partnerships and strategic planning at JFC-UIA. Register and email advance questions to Minister Biton.

Mazel Tov to the Calgary JCC's newly appointed senior leadership team of Rhona Shore, Jeannette Lozancic, Scott Russell, and Anita Jong. Leading the team as the Managing Director, Rhona brings to this role her deep community connections and experience of growing up and being an active participant and supporter of Jewish Calgary. The team is especially looking forward to welcoming everyone back as they re-open the JCC doors in a phased approach on Monday, July 6.

On June 19, Kesher hosted an inclusive, virtual Father's Day event facilitated by Rabbi Leonard Cohen and Karina Szulc. Twenty packages were delivered to participants to make a one-of-a-kind gift for their loved ones. June 21 was delicious, creative, and so much fun for the PJ Library® families that ordered our special PJ Father's Day Cookie Kit! Cookies, edible paint palettes, and PJ Library aprons were delivered in time for children to create a unique gift or use as a hands-on activity for Father's Day. This sold-out activity is one of the many virtual PJ programs that have been enjoyed since mid-March, with more planned for the weeks ahead. For information about PJ Library (for ages six months to 12 years) email Kathie.
