Census 2020 Update
The Census Bureau has proposed extending the window for field data collection and self-response to October 31, 2020, which will allow for apportionment counts to be delivered to the President by April 30, 2021, and redistricting data to be delivered to the states no later than July 31, 2021. This proposal has not yet been approved by Congress.

In It Together: Peer Discussion Groups for Jewish Community Professionals Who Have Been Laid Off or Furloughed
(6 Tuesdays)
NJHSA
and JPRO Network invite anyone who has been laid off or furloughed from a Jewish organizations to take part in weekly peer-to-peer processing sessions. Participants will be placed in groups of up to ten, which will meet six times (and more if wanted). Groups will be moderated by a licensed social worker with expertise in group work, as well as a career counselor from a Jewish Human Services Agency.

Self-Employment Possibilities and Resources for People with Mental Health Challenges
This session will focus on three primary factors to contemplate when people receiving behavioral support services are considering self-employment, including the match between the business idea with the prospective business owner’s conditions of employment, feasibility of the business concept and availability of needed supports. Several possible resources for funding business start-ups will also be explored as well as strategies for braiding and blending funding.
