The moment we all have been waiting anxiously is almost here. The grand opening of our new home in the heart of downtown Rockport. To celebrate and honor our member artists, The first exhibitions in all three of our beautiful new exhibit space will feature artwork made exclusively by member artists.
First two exhibitions - The Big Wave! and Miniatures - these exhibition will take place in the H-E-B Gallery and the Mendez Family Gallery. The third exhibition, Standing Out 2023 will be held in the McKelvey Charitable Fund Gallery.

The History Center for Aransas County
October 9th, 1 pm - 4 pm, Join archeologists to learn the early people of Aransas County. Activities begin at 1:00pm with centers that relate the skills of early people. Create a pinch pot, select a stone for tool making and learn how archeologist record information. At 3:00pm David Kroskie will speak about local archeological investigations. "Archeology in Regional State Parks" will include surveys of Goose Island, Goliad, and Powderhorn.

Goose Island State Park

Memorial Park
