Play with Music: Let's Get Silly
August 29th, 2021 | Infinity Park | 9:45AM and 11:15AM
The first ones filled up, so we've added another set and moved them outside! These will be limited capacity, socially distanced outdoor events, each of which will include a 45-minute immersive orchestral performance and a DIY instrument making kit for your child(ren) to do at home.

The music from our virtual “Let’s Get Silly” program will come to life in this lively and fun return to in-person Tiny Tots programs. Listen to the silliest instrument sounds you can imagine, explore emotions and make funny faces along with the music, play a game of freeze dance with the orchestra, and more.
We are committed to equity and access in the orchestra space.

New School Programming
In-Person and Online
As we look to the start of the school year, we will have a menu of options for schools in and outside of Colorado.

For Colorado Schools: In-Person

  • Outdoor Programs: Bring music to recess with our interactive outdoor pop-up trios
  • In-school small ensemble programs: Students will interact with a teaching artist and musicians as they are guided to move and react to the music, answer questions and prompts about what they’re hearing, and think creatively and critically about the composers and the music. Program options include single or multi-visit options, adaptable based on public health guidelines and needs of the school.

For Schools in Colorado and Beyond: Virtual

  • Virtual Field Trips: No field trips? No problem. No problem. Virtual Field Trips will bring music and art directly to you and your students! Programming carefully designed by professional musicians and educators to optimize the child's experience.
  • Learning Tools: The first volume in an ongoing project, our Composer Cards show the diversity that exists and is often unrepresented in orchestral music. When you buy the cards, you also receive access to a robust Composer Card virtual resource platform.
  • Free online resources: curated playlist library, activity guides, searchable activity database, online musical games, learning videos, and more.
  • New! Virtual Curriculum: In October, we'll be rolling out a new yearlong virtual curriculum to bring orchestral music into your classroom - no matter where it is. Designed for ECE-8th grade students, the trilingual (English, Spanish, French) curriculum will be organized in monthly topics and weekly lessons. Programming includes virtual field trips, performance videos, educational videos on instruments and music, on/offline lessons, activity guides, workbooks, and musical games. A central focus will be diversity and equity in composers, performers, and artistic styles.
