Bailey Coach Makes Clean Break During Pandemic
On March 16, PBA Member Bailey Coach completed their last revenue run before the coronavirus pandemic halted business. Two days later, John Bailey, made the difficult choice to lay off all his employees, save himself and his daughter, Courtney Bailey. VIDEO: Senator Chuck Grassley Advocates for Motorcoach Industry Relief Bill
(Politico) Senate Finance Chair Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) took to the Senate floor Thursday to advocate for the motorcoach industry, which as he noted, "has been particularly hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic" and has not received dedicated funding to help family-owned bus companies. "I spoke with Secretary Mnuchin about this matter and have relayed the concerns from these Iowa companies to the relevant committees here in the Senate," Grassley said.
