The recent events remind me of how important GoochlandCares is to our community. In addition to providing a lifeline to our most vulnerable neighbors during this unprecedented Coronavirus quarantine, GoochlandCares offers us an opportunity to create real change - by impacting one life at-a-time.
Our vision of a community where everyone's basic human needs are met is inspired by ideals of social and economic justice - by equity and dignity. GoochlandCares unites people of many backgrounds, races, ethnicities, and faiths together in compassion.
My spirit is lifted by our clients, some of whom shared their feelings recently when picking up curbside Food Pantry orders. I join them in thanks for your generosity and wanted to share this short video – it is a glimmer of all the good that happens when our community comes together.
