1. Chamber Events for 2016
The Chamber of Commerce puts on several community events that are family friendly!
Our first event will be Berthoud Day on Saturday, June 4, 2016. The day will kick off with a parade at 11:00 a.m. (Have you thought of having an entry in the parade? It's free and open to everyone to participate.) Right after the parade, join us in Town Park for vendors, food, and music. The music will begin at noon and last until 9:00 p.m. Old School BBQ will have food for sale under the pavilion until 8:30 p.m. If you are interested in being a vendor, the form in already on our website. If you have a talent and would like to take part in "Berthoud's Got Talent" please watch our website,
www.berthoudcolorado.com
(News & Events; Berthoud Day) for details.
On Saturday, June 18, 2016, we will have our outdoor
Quilt, Art & Craft Show
in
Fickel Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This is a good time to showcase your "handiwork". You can enter one quilt for $5.00 or five for $20.00. You will have the chance to win a sewing machine. Plus, we will be judging the quilts this year. We will also have vendors in the park at this time selling their arts and crafts items. Would you like a vendor booth? Be sure to let us know. (There is no food allowed in the park at this time due to quilts being fragile.)
Get out your clubs and join us on Friday, August 5, 2016, when we host our
Open Golf Tournament. You have the opportunity to be a "hole sponsor" and advertise your business. You also can sign up to golf, even if you don't have a team of 4. We will find others to join you. Lunch is included in this tournament, and we have a lot of fun prizes. The winning team will get their (team) name on the plaque in our office.
Oktoberfest will be on Saturday, October 1, 2016 and is the final event put on by the chamber. This event is in Fickel Park and we have traditional German food, music, and dancers. We also have vendors selling that day. Let us know if you'd like to be a vendor at this fun event. This event is a great day to spend with your family.
We hope you will keep an eye on our webpage and
mark your calendars. Remember: If you want to be a vendor at one of the events, the registration forms will also be posted there. Hope to see you at one or more of these events!

3. Ambassador of the Month
Congratulations to
Marie Meier
with Larimer County Workforce who was voted Ambassador of the Month! She is on several committees and volunteers at various Chamber events! Ambassadors look at the log sheets that each Ambassador fills out with their volunteer hours before they vote. Sometimes they are nominated by the number of hours they volunteer and other times they are nominated by their creative contributions to the chamber.
Ambassadors serve in many capacities: Business before Hours, Luncheons, Business after Hours, Ribbon Cuttings, event committees (Installation Dinner, Berthoud Day, Quilt, Art & Craft Show, Golf Tournament, and Oktoberfest as well as other special events we do.)
TH
ANK YOU you for all of your hard work and volunteer time. We really appreciate you!

8. Do You Want New Members and New Residents to Know About You and Your Business?
We give out between 5-15 welcome bags a month. As a member of the BACC, you have the opportunity to have your "swag" put in these welcome bags we give to our new members at ribbon cuttings and to the new home owners in Berthoud.
Our bags right now are a little on the thin side and not very welcoming...please drop your business swag by the chamber office so we can make up new bags.
Thank you!
