Weekly Newsletter 10/28/2022

Dear Parents,

We had a truly spooktackular time at our Halloween event. Many thanks to those families who donated candy to help our students fill 200 bags for homeless kids. It will be wonderful for those kids and even better for our students to learn the lesson of helping others. It was fabulous to see so many families at the event. I took lots of photos and videos and hope to have them on our website for you in time for Halloween.

I understand that Monday is Halloween. Please do not send kids in costumes on Halloween. Monday we will have our regular amazing school program!

We do our very best to keep our school healthy and thank parents who never send sick children to school. Please know that if your child is sent home with a fever, DCF requires that they be fever free for 24 hours before returning. Also, please know that whenever we have cases of communicable diseases like hand foot, and mouth, in addition to our regular nightly cleaning and sanitizing by a professional cleaning crew, we also order additional deep cleans when needed. Your child's health and safety remain our #1 concern.

Finally, Next weekend is the annual Country Walk Fall Festival. If you would like a vendor table for this event, reach out to Julie Carpintero at the clubhouse or by emailing [email protected] for an application. The cost is $50 for a vendor space.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Beth Rosenthal Davis, Ed.S, NBCT
