There are just three weeks left of school, and the Memo is full of info about end-of-year events and expectations. We hope you'll bring your good luck and join us on Saturday to socialize and celebrate the year.

Happy Monday,

Please bring your own chairs, blankets, and/or beverages of choice (alcohol is permitted). You are welcome to bring your children, but we ask that you supervise them and keep them with you. Your school store account will be charged $15 for each copy. If you don't want your child to get one, or you want siblings to share one, please email Krystal today to let her know.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

GRADUATION 2021
As the state lifts COVID requirements between now and the end of the school year, we anticipate being able to host a graduation ceremony that is as close to normal as possible, though we have had to make some decisions for spacing that will limit attendance. Typically, Riverside's graduation is a PreK-8th community event that culminates the school year with traditions that have been practiced since 1981. With the audience appropriately spaced, this year we will only be able to host faculty, trustees, 8th-graders, and approximately 5 guests or family members per graduate. We’ll be sending an email to families of graduates soon with further details. As an 8th-grade family, if you need more information right away, please reach out to Roy.
GROW RIVERSIDE OUTSIDE
If you appreciate Riverside's teachers and an effort to increase active learning and community gathering, then please make a donation to our pavilion project. So far, we've had 22% of our current families participate!
VACCINE INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS
Vermont students ages 12+ are now eligible to register for COVID vaccination appointments. This short information sheet from the VT Department of Health and this fact sheet from the FDA may answer any questions you have about the vaccine. If you'd like to have your child vaccinated, use this link to set up an account to register for one of the Department of Health's community clinics.
