Our 5th graders and 5th grade leaders are working hard to create a scared experience for all of Children's Ministry this year.

The Bethlehem Breakfast 2020 mission is: Prisma Health Children's Hospital.
The 5th graders are so excited to be learning more about how they can meet Prisma Health Children's Hospital's needs & teach us all why this mission area is so important. From now until Jan. 3, we will be collecting the following items:
coloring books, activity books, crayons, markers, and similar items.
Additionally, children are asked to make Thank you - Encouragement cards for hospital/frontline workers in Prisma Health Children's Hospital.
You can bring the items & cards by the church anytime during office hours. Contact ChildrensMinistry@bsumc.com with questions.
The saying is true:
Many hands make light work.
Parents & Sunday School Teachers, we need your feedback to offer quality Sunday School programs both for in-person and for Zoom classes.
Thank you!

Sundays for all grades
  • Dec. 13
Sundays for 2K-3K and 5th
  • Dec. 27

On 12/27 we will have an encore viewing of Bethlehem Breakfast that we'd love for your family to watch in lieu of regular Sunday School. The 2k-3k class and 5th grade class will meet on Sunday, 12/27 to wrap up their curriculum for 2020. We look forward to having Sunday School resume in 2021 on Zoom!

We know that even a few minutes on Zoom is a lot, and so we ask that you give it a chance and join us for as long as you can for each gathering to keep up good spiritual habits.

Nursery Re-Opens

We are pleased to offer a nursery for children 3K and under during Worship. The nursery will open at 8:30 for the 9:00 Downtown Traditional service and at 10:30 for the 11:00 Downtown Table service and the 11:00 Trinity Campus service. The nurseries are located in the Multi-Age Room at the Downtown Campus and in the Trinity Nursery Room at the Trinity Campus. Temperatures will be taken at the nursery doors, and the maximum number of children we can care for is 15 per service.
Safe Sanctuary
Who needs training?
Anyone who volunteers as a coordinator, teacher or substitute or is interested in creating a safe sanctuary at BSUMC. It's required for all volunteers (even for zoom) & recommended for all members to create a community of care.

Please click on the image above to find out more about our new digital "One Form/One Time" Minor Health Release for the 2020-2021 school year.

VERY IMPORTANT:
MAKE SURE YOU ARE LOGGED INTO REALM PRIOR TO CLICKING THE REGISTRATION LINK.

Beginning this school year, the Minor Health Release waiver for Children's Ministry and Youth Ministry will be completed by "registering" your children for the 2020-2021 school year in Realm. Complete one form for all of the children and youth in your family with one registration! And this Minor Health Release is valid until next fall.
