We Are Here For You!
With the uncertainty related to COVID-19 we want you to know:
We Are Here for You!

If you find that you need help in any way due to being quarantined, at risk, or other circumstances, please contact the parish office (618-632-3562) or email Matt Flynn (matthewflynn5@gmail.com). We have volunteers who are willing and able to help with running errands and various tasks or to call you if you are lonely. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please also contact our area St. Vincent de Paul helpline (618-632-4270).
Giving Tree - Gift Tags
NOVEMBER 20-DECEMBER 6
This year, due to COVID, we will be doing online sign ups for gifts instead of tags on a tree. With over 300 gifts for 52 families, each name belongs to a family member being helped by our St. Vincent de Paul ministry.

This year, adults and children 15 and older will receive one gift card of their choice for a minimum of $25 (you may choose to give more). Children 14 and younger will receive 3 gifts of their choice.
Go to STCLARECHURCH.ORG/GIFT to click on the the "Giving Tree Gift Tag" link
and for instructions on wrapping and returning the gifts.

Thank you for your generosity in supporting our Giving Tree Ministry!

Thanksgiving Day & Collection
THANKSGIVING COLLECTION
ITEMS CAN BE DROPPED OFF AT CHURCH ON THANKSGIVING DAY
OR THE WEEKEND OF NOVEMBER 28/29

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul NEEDS YOUR HELP in providing essentials to the poor they serve. With cold weather just around the corner, there is a desperate need for gently-used coats and blue jeans – men’s, women’s and children’s (all sizes) and blankets.

Also, sack lunch items (individually packaged) are always needed: cookies, fruit cups, tuna and chicken snack packs, chips, crackers, cheese sticks, yogurt, cereal, Pop Tarts, breakfast bars, soup or pasta in a cup, bottled water; luncheon meat/cheese for sandwiches is also appreciated.

Ornaments
All ornaments will be pre-paid online only this year. You can choose to purchase your ornament for PICK UP or TO BE SHIPPED. Ornaments to be picked up after Mass on the weekend of December 12-13 are $12 each. Ornaments to be shipped directly to your home address are $15 each.
Alternative Giving for Christmas
As we approach Advent, the hustle and bustle of the "holiday season" is already becoming apparent. Consider preparing for and celebrating Christmas differently this year.
Options for charitable giving can be found on our website at:

Resources for observing Advent prayerfully will be available at church and online starting the weekend of Nov. 21-22.
