Welcome RCR Taylor Logistics Park
RCR Taylor Logistics Park opened with a ribbon cutting on May 5. It offers dual Class 1 rail service from Union Pacific and BNSF Railroads. The 755-acre site located, offers transloading, manifest, unit train and storage for national and international firms in the area. The park is capable of handling multiple, non-hazardous commodities and looks forward to working with customers to meet their individual needs. Serving as a logistics hub for the Central Texas area, RCR Taylor Logistics Park will assist companies in increasing productivity and accessibility through offering dual Class 1 railroad service. To learn more, visit their website.

Learn how to prevent workplace violence
The Chamber luncheon on Monday, May 17, will focus on workplace violence.
Regan Rychetsky, of Insight Workplace Solutions, LLC., has 20 years of experience handling threats, threatening behavior, domestic violence, stalking and recovering from the aftermath of violence in the workplace.
The luncheon will begin at noon at Holiday Inn Express and Suites, 180 Carlos G. Parker Blvd. Lunch will be catered by Plowman's Kitchen. Registration is $15 and can be done by clicking HERE. Space is limited due to Covid-19 safety restrictions.

Vaccination clinic
A walk-up vaccination clinic will be held 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, at Jerusalem Pentecostal Church, 908 E M.L.K. Jr Blvd, will be offering the one-shot Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 while supplies last. The clinic is sponsored by the Bill Pickett Foundation, Taylor National Guard and Jerusalem Church. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for those in line at those times. There no charge for the vaccine.

The Taylor BBQ tradition continues on Saturday, May 22, and judges are needed for BBQ Sauce at 9 am, beans at 10 , chicken at 11, pork at noon, cooks choice at 1 p.m. and beef at 2 at the Wilco Expo Center, 5350 Bill Picket Trail.
