Data & Reports
ACS Self-Sufficiency Indicators Report
The Association of Community Services (ACS) FY 2021 Self-Sufficiency Indicators Report provides information to inform the Howard County community about our neighbors and colleagues whose economic stability is at risk and to contribute to data-driven public policy discussion and development.

The report includes indicators in the areas of finance, housing, food, childcare, healthcare, and residents with a disability, with many disaggregated by race and ethnicity. It also captures the continuing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which was in its early stages when Fiscal Year 2021 began, in June 2020.
Brave Voices Brave Choices - Local Equity Analysis
Howard County Library System’s Inequity Within report presents data and shows local history of racial inequity and its ongoing impact on education, health, housing, and criminal justice in Howard County and the state of Maryland. This report demonstrates that even in a county where the majority of residents appear to be thriving, there are communities that do not fully reap the benefits of residing here. Read full report.
