Welcome to the month of May! I love this time of year - a time for blooming flowers, bright sunshine and warmer weather. This year May also symbolizes the gradual winding down of a time that many of us have never seen before - and one we will not soon forget. The last several weeks have been a time for staying home, for reflection, for re-evaluating our priorities, for staying safe and healthy, and a time for focusing on our families and on new ways of living and working. Our Chamber Team has been thinking of you and praying for you, your businesses and employees. We are so proud of our community – the way everyone has banded together to support local businesses and families and to spread encouragement throughout our community.
The Governor’s Responsible RestartOhio plan is beginning and details are attached again to this newsletter. While the Chamber team continues to work remotely to show caution for our staff, members, and visitors, our team is here to help. As our Buckeye state begins to reopen, your Chamber will continue to provide to you via email and social media a list of up-to-date reliable resources to help you navigate the guidelines. As always, the Chamber is working to be your trusted resource during this challenging time.
Over the coming weeks and months as we return to a somewhat more normal way of life, I look forward to connecting with you to learn how we can partner to help your business be even more successful. In addition, our networking events will resume as soon as we can safely do so. We wish you all a safe, healthy and encouraging month of May!
