PBCA Processing of COVID-19 Supplemental

Payment (CSP) Requests

Multifamily Section 8 Owners and Agents,

  

On July 23, 2020, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) published HUD Notice H 20-8 the availability of CARES Act funds to reimburse property owners for COVID-19 related expenses incurred between March 27, 2020 through July 31, 2020. Supplemental payment requests are due to our office by August 5, 2020.

 

In accordance with Section VIII of the Housing Notice, SC State Housing Finance and Development Authority will be processing the COVID-19 Supplemental Payment (CSP) Requests. Please submit all CSP-Request-Form HUD-52671-E 1 or Tier 2 and any supporting documentation to [email protected]. To ensure the request is clearly identifiable please submit with the following subject line: Contract Number, Project Name, Tier 1 or Tier 2.

 

Requests will be reviewed for accuracy and completeness. Any deficiencies will be returned for necessary corrections or additional documentation. Corrected CSP submissions must be returned within 2 business days to ensure timely processing in accordance with HUD’s timelines as stated in the notice. Once a complete package has been received, we will submit to HUD for final review and approval. We are expecting payments to be disbursed on or about October 1, 2020, separately from the October voucher payments.
