Small Business Seminar
August 5th | 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Join us for an informational webinar about Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned and learn what processes you need to employ for your staff to safely return to your office space. Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned is a defensive cleaning program that goes beyond janitorial or carpet cleaning. This is proactive viral pathogen cleaning that helps ensure the cleanliness of the restaurants, businesses and public spaces in the communities we all call home. With over 50 year of expertise, SERVPRO professionals are trained and experienced in biohazard decontamination and chemical spills – always adhering to the cleaning and decontamination standards set by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and local authorities.
Preparation is key to making it through any size disaster, whether it is a small water leak, a large fire, or an area flood. Having a plan in place may help minimize the amount of time your business is inactive and get you back in your building faster following a disaster. Don't wait until disaster strikes-resolve to be READY by contacting SERVPRO of Crofton/Odenton/Severn to establish your Emergency READY Profile and be "Ready for whatever happens" in 2020.

Learn more about these two programs with Owner/Operator Jim Shuey. It will be an hour well spent!

Salt on Main Wellness Center
Opening in November 2019, we launched Prince George's County first Halotherapy Center also known as dry salt therapy. Halotherapy is a safe holistic approach to keeping your respiratory system in tip top shape where you relax and breathe in pharmaceutical grade dry salt.

Salt removes toxins from the respiratory system, aides reduction of bacterial growth in sinus passages and assists the body in opening up the airway passages.

Dry salt also absorbs impurities and provides anti-bacterial properties that benefit the skin such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema as well as regulates the skin's micro-circulation.

Visit our online retail shop, buy customizable gift cards for your business associates, family, and friends, and then bring them to see our beautiful clean space space where you can Relax, Restore, Rejuvenate!!

Business Connections Network's
Seeking New Members!
business_shaking_hands.jpg
The Central Maryland Chamber’s Business Connections Networks (BCN) are premiere networking leads groups focused on connecting business professionals throughout Central Maryland.

CMC offers an open format that invites each group member to contribute to the conversation. In addition, members are encouraged to meet with each other outside of the monthly meetings for coffee. These one-on-one or small group meetings are instrumental to developing meaningful business relationships that can lead to warm referrals, synergistic marketing, creative support and engaging power partners.

While members are encouraged to support each other and give leads/referrals, there is no pressure to give leads for the sake of meeting a quota. Emphasis is on giving quality leads that produce results. In addition, we have technology, sales and marketing discussions, as well as educational topics planned and presented by group participants.

There is an exclusivity rule of one member per business category, which eliminates unfair competition among members of the group, and allows each member to openly represent their business. Participation in a group is a free benefit of membership for Central Maryland Chamber members.

CMC's BCN groups are currently seeking NEW members! To be a part or learn more, please click the link below to get in touch with each leader!
Join the CMC Board of Directors!
Dear Business Partners,

If you are an active member of the Central Maryland Chamber (CMC), I invite you to help us develop a slate of quality candidates to fill vacancies on the CMC’s Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is a dynamic group of business executives that help set the CMC’s vision and assist in carrying out it’s important mission to be the premiere business resource and advocate as the region experiences exponential growth.

Per CMC by-laws, I invite you to nominate yourself or other individuals in the CMC to serve on the Board of Directors. All nominees must be current members of the CMC for consideration.

A Nominations Committee will confirm eligibility and review qualification before nominating finalists for consideration by the full Board of Directors.

To nominate yourself or another individual please complete the application and
submit it along with a resume and letter of qualification/interest to Kristi@centralmarylandchamber.org no later than August 28, 2020.

The Nominations Committee will meet during the month of September, and notifications will be made in October. Board training will occur during the month of November, and board terms begin January 1, 2021.

Your assistance is critical to the process of forming an active and well-qualified Board of Directors. As a result, I highly encourage you to apply or nominate a worthy individual who can help set a strong course for the Central Maryland Chamber and its member businesses.

Sincerely Yours,
Congratulations 2020 CMC Hall of Fame Inductees!
