Participate in our Summer Orientation to Academics and Resources (SOAR)

Register for one of our course registration webinars.

August 4, 2020
Login to SOLUS, view your enrolment appointment time and begin adding courses to your shopping cart.

August 10, 2020
BSCH, BCMPH students enroll on SOLUS.

August 12, 2020
BAH, BFAH, BMUS students enroll on SOLUS.

August 24, 2020
Open enrollment for first-year students. Science students can now take arts courses and vice versa.

August 27 & 28, 2020
Registration Pause Days, no activity can be completed on SOLUS.

August 31, 2020
Open enrollment begins for all students and first-year students will no longer have priority to first-year classes.

Sept 8, 2020
First day of classes.
SOARJoin us for our Summer Orientation to Academics and Resources (SOAR)
 
Join us for SOAR, a month-long summer orientation program for incoming first-year students and their parents and supporters. The program features a combination of modules and online events, including opportunities to connect with upper-year students, faculty, and staff.
 
See the schedule of Faculty of Arts and Science sessions on our webpage for First-Year Students, which also includes information on our free summer courses, ASCX 101: Living and Working in a Digital Age, new videos on our first-year courses, our First-Year Students Handbook, and additional information and resources. We will be continuing to add new videos and resources throughout July, so please check back often!

Your professors are planning for high quality remote course delivery in the fall. Registration will officially start on Monday, August 10 and enrollment appointments can be viewed in SOLUS starting on August 4. This series is a Faculty of Arts and Science collaboration which helps to  make sense of this pandemic through the expertise and insights of Arts and Science faculty members.

The series is live-streamed on Zoom every Tuesday at 4:00 PM EDT/EST.

The 25th annual social policy conference from the  Queen's International Institute on Social Policy  will run virtually August 25 - September 10, 2020
 
This year's conference will be free for participants, and will explore how Canada and other OECD countries can rethink and reset critical building blocks of social policy in light of the fault lines exposed by the current crisis.
