Our Full Moon on April 26th occurs in Swati, "The Self Going Star." Swati is ruled by Vayu, the God of the Wind. This Nakshatra is concerned with air, wind, breeze, or knowledge of Akaash since Akaash is the abode of air. Akaash translates into consciousness, and more specifically, the Akashic Records.
Alice A. Bailey wrote in her book Light of the Soul on The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali Book 3:
The akashic record is like an immense photographic film, registering all our planet's desires and earth experiences. Those who perceive it will see pictured thereon: The life experiences of every human being since time began, the reactions to the experience of the entire animal kingdom, the aggregation of the thought-forms of a karmic nature (based on desire) of every human unit throughout time. Herein lies the great deception of the records. Only a trained occultist can distinguish between what's real and unreal.
Those with prominent planets in Swati have the insight to decipher the real from the unreal; however, getting them to take action is a different matter. Libra is the zodiac sign that resides in this Moon Mansion. Libra is all about making sure everything is balanced, as seen by its symbol of the "Scales of Justice." Often to their detriment in keeping the balance, they become stuck on one side, constantly creating another set of scales to balance the scale they are weighing down. To reset the scales, everything must be removed and laid upon the table.
The holder of the "Scales of Judgement" is pictured blindfolded, holding a sword. Not everything you see or think will be true, so everything must be judged from within to determine if it is useful to place back on the scale or cut for another time or lifetime.
So as Above, So as Below
Our Full Moon is in opposition to its beloved the Sun, and Mercury, Venus, and Uranus. Things may seem emotionally intense with a sudden change in plans or a loss of some kind. You may need to take your time and dig deeper to decipher the real from the real. When you're ready, be courageous and vulnerable in your conversations with others and, most importantly yourself.
As we move deeper into Spring:
- What areas of your life weigh you down?
- What's real? What's unreal?
- Can you remove something from one side to the other?
- What can you cutaway?
- What would it feel like to be in balance?
Take your time deciphering what is real and unreal to bring life back into balance. In doing so, you balance the scales of this lifetime, thereby altering your Akashic Record for all lifetimes.
