Village Hall.jpg

On May 17, 2021 a Special Council Meeting was held to discuss crime and policing throughout the Village as well as give residents the opportunity to speak about their perspectives and ideas.

During the meeting, Deputy Chief Assistant State Attorney Scott Dunn spoke about how the State Attorney's Office evaluates and handles juvenile cases. Dunn was followed by a presentation by Public Defender Carlos J. Martinez about the lifelong repercussions that may result from juvenile misconduct.

The Village will ensure that all residents have access to these presentations and work with the community to answer any additional questions related to the topic.
