State of Arkansas
Arkansas saw an increase of 288 positive cases of COVID-19 today. That increases the cumulative number of cases to 10,368. Of the positive cases in Arkansas, 3,087 are considered active. Of the active cases, 138 are in nursing homes, 199 are in correctional facilities and 2,750 are in the community. Currently 181 people are hospitalized, of which 49 are on ventilators. So far, 165 people have died, an increase of four deaths since yesterday.
Hutchinson said once again that the growth of cases is not related to the lifting of restrictions in the state. He said that Arkansas is going to experience a trend of several peaks instead of one large peak like other states.

Saline & Garland Counties
In Saline County, 159 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Saline County and 4,858 have tested negative. Of those testing positive, 112 have recovered.
In Garland County, 153 people have tested positive for COVID-19 and 4,464 have tested negative. Of the people infected, 134 have recovered and one has died.

- The Beboppers Dance scheduled for June 20 has been canceled.
