THIS WEEK'S POLL QUESTION
Do You Think Escondido Is Ready To Begin Opening Back Up With Restrictions?
YES
NO
JR's Weekly Column
How are you? That’s the critical question right now. We’re here for you, and we’re not going anywhere.
In fact, we’re doubling down as they say and working overtime to help. Many of you have reached out to the Chamber with questions and other requests. If we don’t have the answer, you can be sure we’ll work to get them. Others are joining our Zoom calls and reading our updates. We certainly don’t have the answers to every question, but we’re committed to helping in any way possible.

We’re not going to inundate your inbox or forward anything that hasn’t met our litmus test in terms of
validity and value to our members. So, I encourage you to give us feedback and keep the requests and
comments coming. My email and number are at the bottom this newsletter.

I do want to publicly extend my thanks to our Board of Directors here at the Chamber, as they too have kicked their support into overdrive during this challenging time. If ever there is a time to band together as one cohesive force to help that time is now. And I mean that for all Escondidans.

Right now many of you are struggling to make sense of it all and perhaps even questioning yourselves with your business and its sustainability. Hell, some have already said it’s over! Yet, others are forging on looking for a ray of sunshine on the horizon or…maybe this hasn’t affected your business at all. If that’s the case please do get hold of us as we want to know. However, if you’re one of the many suffering please do reach out to us and be a part of what we’re advocating for here in Escondido. We believe that we must carry on and never stop reaching for answers.

This Chamber, your Escondido Chamber, has survived a pandemic before and we’re going to survive this one. Let us help you.

Sincerely,

James Rowten (JR)
