We're Almost There!
Dear International Slugs,

Can you believe we’re more than halfway through the quarter? We imagine nearly everyone is busy working through midterms and projects. Hold on, as graduation season and summer break are only a few weeks away.

We know that some of you may be struggling through other stressful situations, such as the surging COVID crisis in India that may be directly affecting you and your family members. Global Engagement and our campus partners including CAPS and Radical Resilience are working together to bring you our Global Support Series. These events will provide a space for you to process with other international students and scholars, seek support, and more. Whether you’re concerned about the pandemic or changes in immigration regulations, we are here to listen and to support you.

Check out the other information below for important information about preparing for commencement (for those who are graduating), enrolling in Summer Session (for those who are not), and other programs that you may want to join, as time and energy allow. Lastly, we hope those who observe Ramadan had a joyous Eid al Fitr.

As the weather gets warmer in Santa Cruz, we’d like to remind everyone that you are not alone and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

In support and solidarity,

Victoria, Andy, and Lisa
